In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including California Civil Code § 1798.82 and any other applicable breach notification statutes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to data security, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for services in the twelve months preceding the incident, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Data Retention

Inquiry form submissions and correspondence are retained for a period of three (3) years from the date of last contact, unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain them longer by law.
Client relationship records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable tax, accounting, or business law obligations.
Server logs are retained for no more than ninety (90) days.

When personal information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, we will delete or anonymize it using reasonable means.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not use personal information provided in a rights request for any purpose other than processing the request.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, provided the agent presents written authorization and you verify your identity directly with us.

California “Shine the Light” Law: California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. As we do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes, this provision does not apply to our practices.
